Air Fryer Black Eyed Pea Dumpling Stew

Black-eyed pea dumplings are air-fried dough filled with spices and ground black-eyed peas that is super simple to prepare eaten with potato stew.


Black-eyed pea dumplings are a small amount of soft dough that is air-fried and served with potato veggie stew. How do you make Black-eyed pea dumplings from scratch? Ingredients for Potato Vegetable Stew.

2 white potatoes cut into cubes

2 large onions, diced

2 large tomatoes, diced

1 small eggplant, peeled and diced

3 medium carrots, diced

1 medium sweet potato cut into cubes

1 hot pepper, chopped

1 bay leaf

Salt to taste

4 cups water

Directions for Potato Vegetable Stew.

Add all ingredients to a large lidded pot simmer 25 minutes.

1 ¼ cups dry black-eyed peas

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon ground parsley flakes

1 cup vegetable broth

1 teaspoon salt

Directions for Air Fryer Black Eyed Pea Dumplings.

In a large food processor grind black-eyed peas, flour salt, and parsley, while slowly adding water; until soft dough forms. Roll equally sized medium black-eyed peas dumplings into the air-fryer vegetable stew, spray with vegetable oil and bake for 10 minutes. Serve air-fryer black eyed pea dumplings with potato stew.
